What are Charlala's Subscription options?
We offer three subscriptions options highlighted below:
- Free Plan: Free plans have full functionality on the platform. Free plans, however, can create a limited number of assignments and DrawRoom activities.
- Pro Plan: Pro plans have full functionality on the platform and can create unlimited assignments and DrawRoom activities. Pro plans are billed $120 annually and do not renew automatically.
- Group Plan: Group plans offer the same benefits as the Pro Plan and include a dedicated group resource library for collaboration, retention of student responses through their tenure in your program, and dedicated support for student rostering and professional development.
Why does Charlala charge for Pro Plans?
Charlala charges for Pro Plans to cover the expenses of operating, maintaining, and continually developing the platform. The majority of this work is completed by practicing and retired educators. Our intention is not to add to the financial burden educators already face to bring resources and materials to their students. Please reach out to support@charlala.com if you are an individual teacher wanting to use Charlala but don't have the funds for a Pro Plan. We appreciate your support in helping Charlala grow!
How do I upgrade my subscription?
Visit your teacher dashboard and select your avatar in the top right corner. Your may select Upgrade from the dropdown menu or select Account Settings. Under Plan Details, select Upgrade. Please reach out to orders@charlala.com if you need a quote or additional help.
What are my payment options?
- Individual purchasers may complete payment using credit/debit card.
- Institutions may purchase using a purchase order, credit/debit card, ACH payment, or check.
Do you accept Purchase Orders (POs)?
Yes, we accept POs for individual and group accounts. Please send POs to orders@charlala.com or reach out if you need a quote. Please click here to get a copy of our W-9.
Can I delete my account?
Of course! If you no longer need your Charlala account please visit your account dashboard, select your avatar in the top right corner, and then select Account Settings. Under Account Data, select Danger Zone and then select Permanently Delete Account. Deleting your account will permanently delete all data associated with you account, including your information, classes, assignments, stories, conversations, rubrics, and sets. After deletion this information cannot be recovered.
How do I make a data request about my account?
We comply with FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, and local data privacy laws. Teachers, administrators, parents, and students have a right to review, modify, and/or delete any information.
